Tour Info

Each tour page specifies what is included. Anything not mentioned is to be considered extra.
Travel companions and a great desire to explore the Mugello, a still largely unchartered area of Tuscany, its food and its culture.
In almost all tours we offer the possibility of purchasing both food & wine and craft products linked to our territory.

Preparation

We recommend booking all tours as soon as possible – as they quickly sell out, considering that we work with small groups to guarantee the maximum experience. But if you want to try taking part in a last-minute tour, write to us, we could accommodate you!
On each page of the tour you will find all the necessary information. In general, for hiking it is recommended to wear comfortable, closed shoes. For tours that involve sections in the woods, in addition to comfortable shoes, also long trousers.
Of course! Our Tours are Family-friendly. Indeed, some tours such as the Market, Food and Cooking Experience and the truffle hunting tour are particularly suitable for children as these tours highlight their exploratory, manual and creative skills. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tours are held either in Italian or in English. For other languages you are requested to make a written request and wait for the answer before booking a tour.
To confirm your booking we require and advance payment that can be done via PayPal, credit Card or Wire transfer. The remaining amount can be payed on site via Credit Card or Cash.
Please note that some tours (ex. Wine tours) require a full payment at the booking time.
The tours all have different locations albeit all set in the Mugello Valley. You will find all the information on the specific tour pages.

For transfers between hotels and meeting points of the experience there are two purchase options:

1) You can purchase them directly before leaving from local transport companies easily found on the internet or suggested by your hotel staff

2) You can make use of our booking office info@mugello-tuscany.com which will help you book private or semi-private transfers.

During the booking phase we only request data that are strictly necessary for operational and fiscal issues. No data are used for statistical or market research purposes without your explicit consent. Specifically, we need the age of the participants to book some of the services included in the travel package, while the tax code and residence address are necessary to issue a proper invoice required by Italian law.

MORE ON TOURS

Shared tours are activated with a minimum of 4 people up to a maximum of 6/10 people depending on the tour.

Shared tours depart on specific days and once the date has been made available anyone can join (up to the maximum number of participants).
Private tours are exclusively for the customer or customers who book the tour and can be 100% customized.

Groups of more than 10 people are always considered private and 100% customizable tours.
We do not have a maximum number of people – depending on the size of the event we can manage from 10 to 300 people. 

POLICIES

The cancellation is free of charge 7 days prior to the event, 6-4 days before event date 50%, 3 days before the event date 100% of the price of the tour.

These cancellation policies are not valid for private group tours that have a customized policy.
